2. Conceptual Design Phase
Considered the most critical phase of course development, this phase provides opportunities for team members to collaborate and design solutions. Early identification and resolution of site / program limitations will eliminate obstacles and cost overruns in subsequent phases. Includes design and environmental impact studies, budgetary cost estimates, design reviews, design refinements, preliminary stake-out plan and field review, feature / routing plan, preliminary cost estimate & design report and illustrative conceptual site plan.
